This is to let you know hoe absolutely delighted I am with the putting green you installed at my home several years ago. Installation was smooth and on time. It was a first class job done with precision by knowledgeable professionals. Moreover, this putting green has given my family, my guests, and me hours and hours of enjoyment. At our backyard BBQ’s it is always a big hit. We love to use it for putting and chipping contents. Experiences golfers and novices alike seem to gravitate to it without even the slighted hint from me. We’re having a ball with if for 3 seasons of the year. The only time we don’t use it is when it’s covered with snow. And, by the way, it’s helped me improve my putting as well.

How one feels about a product is inextricable from how it is serviced and maintained. Regarding maintenance, it needs none. No sand, no resurfacing, no annual maintenance, nothing! And it rolls true every time. What a terrific product!

Regarding service, I am also very pleased. I’ve called you about only two minor problems in 3 1⁄2 years. One had to do with poor drainage in one of the holes and the other was because the original flags were weather worn. You resolved both quickly and with no hassle and no charge. And the new flags you provided look even better than the originals. It doesn’t get any better than that. You’ve got a fan for life in me.

With your team having just been by for my putting green’s annual “summer kickoff” maintenance visit, I wanted to drop you a line. Most simply to let you know that they once again did a great job, really working hard to clean and restore it as we come out of the spring and prior winter. My enjoyment of the green is SO high right after you do this sort of sprucing. Delightful to chip and putt on it when smooth, green, properly “sanded” and ball rolls so true. I spent a ton of time on it this past Memorial Day Weekend.

It occurs to me at this juncture to go beyond this particular moment of enjoyment to thank you more generally for the marvelous job you, Joe, have done for us on this over the years. It is striking to realize that you installed the green over 10 years ago, just as we were moving into the house. Your ability to design, build and — ever so important — maintain the green has been superb.

I recall sitting with you way-back-when as you showed me the CAD-plans of possibilities. Your counsel on features and layout were right on. The aesthetics of the area within our yard are superb. The added elements you have helped me with after the fact — most notably the chipping mat and the upgraded landscaping around the perimeter of the green — have enhanced it even more. (And of course there is the fact that my putting and chipping around the green are strengths of my game!)

In sum, Joe, you have done truly marvelous work for us, and have shown an ultra-professional MO. in striving to keep the green in excellent shape. I am most grateful. Keep up the good work!
